This is a poem by the Tang Dynasty Chinese poet Hanshan, filtered through all the languages available in Google Translate until it degenerates into an unrecognizable form. For example, the first translation is from the Classical Chinese into English. The second translation, from the Chinese into Abkhaz, a Caucasian language, and then into English; and so on until Zulu, then back into English. The title comes from what was delivered when filtering Hanshan’s name (which means Cold Mountain) through all 200+ languages with the accurate language detection turned off.
