is an illustrator, animator, and victim of magical thinking. Their work explores a failed de-Mexicanization through a globalized internet, an attempt to be American through crossing the shopping mall. Their residency, Lucky Charms, took place from January 26th to February 1st, 2026.
An Ha
An is a Currents Mag reader and an artist. He’s a boy from Vietnam. He loves to have fun and he also runs Copenger, a Boston based art programming collective. His residency, Unprocedural, took place from December 9-16, 2025.
Julian Lentchner and Ronin Reeves
Julian is an editor-in-chief of Currents and a boy from Pennsylvania. Ronin works in InDesign. She doesn’t understand Adobe. She is a girl from Los Angeles. Their collaborative residency, Untitled (After Mometasone Furoate & Zoryve), took place from February 7-17, 2025.
Julia Petrocelli
Julia is a visual artist, shitposter, and part of the currents graphic design team in her final year at the SMFA. She is Italian and from New Jersey. Her residency took place from October 15-21, 2023.
Fiona Jacobson-Yang
Fiona Jacobson-Yang is an interdisciplinary artist from and based in Queens, New York, with a focus on video, stop-motion animation, and the book arts. She recently graduated with a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She has shown work nationally and internationally in Boston, London, and New York. Jacobson-Yang is also a former co-editor-in-chief of Currents Magazine. Her residency, Ribbon, took place from November 13-16, 2023.
